Reiki can be translated from Japanese as Universal Energy the energy that is used is also known as Chi, Prana, bioplasma, Reiki is the non-physical energy that animates all living things.

When Reiki is used the energy is passing through the Reiki Practitioner into the receiver. This means that thepractitioner does not lose any vital lifeforce and the energy is inexhaustible. Reiki is attacted to areas which need it and depleted areas will absorb however much and how they need the energy.
